  I was kind of surprised to read so many negative reviews with Art Cleaners. We had a house fire at that beginning of November 18' and JJ and Nick Bjork handled our pickup and delivery. I have now been told that they are on the restoration side of the business, but I HAVE to applaud both of these guys on their professionalism, customer service, and all around being great guys! All of our clothes were smoke damage (which has proven to be almost impossible to get the smell out of our personal belongings) and these guys did it! There were a few stains on clothes, but my wife and I knew that they had been there forever. With little to no expectation of them getting those out, they still tagged each item and let us know that they tried, but were unsuccessful. Not only that, they had each item tagged, inspected, and reported as cleaned or non-salvageable. After receiving the items back, I called JJ and stated there were a few items that still were holding the smoke smell. Here is where outstanding customer service came in. He drove to our hotel, after hours, and picked up all of the items. From there, they re-cleaned and deemed some items were not able to be cleaned (if you smelled the fire, you would understand why.) JJ then dropped all of the items back off, again after hours, at the hotel. All the while, JJ maintained constant communication and when he couldn't answer a call or a text, he got back to us within the hour. Unreal customer service in a process that has been a mess in almost every other facet. I can't thank JJ and Nick enough. Whoever is running this business needs to give these guys a raise (or something to retain them as employees.) Stand-up gentlemen and I can't thank you enough for everything you did for us during a tough time! If I had more than two thumbs, they would all be up for these two guys!

  Here's a funny story in retrospect. I was walking down a flight of icy stairs with a ceramic mug of freshly made hot chocolate. Long story short, I fell and slipped half a flight down, the mug flew in the air, shattered on ground and got all over my jacket. This thing was a mess when I brought it here (9 hours later after it was sort of sticky and dry) and it was unfortunately a dry clean only. I didn't expect they would be able to completely get the stains out, but anything other than its current state would have been an improvement. They called me the next day and informed me that dry cleaning wouldn't get the stains out and ASKED my permission to wash it or I could just pick it up. I gave them my permission to go ahead and wash it and when I picked it up, to my surprise it looked brand new. No more stains and the jacket was not ruined. The machine must have been gentle as well because the jacket shows no sign of wear and tear. Better yet, there was no artificial chemically smell, just a light scent of cleanliness like dryer sheets. Also, all the employees I had to talk to were very kind and helped me out greatly. I would definitely go here again if I need something professionally cleaned.
