  This is a 3.8 mile (round trip) out and back trail (although it links up to the Mesa Trail so you can go on a much longer hike/run if you like). It starts from the intersection of Taylor Rd and Rt 93. (As of 2017-11-21 the Google map location is a bit off.) It has a gentle ascent toward the flatirons, getting a little more steep toward the end. The last half mile has a lot of scrabbly loose medium-sized rocks, so it's not ideal for a beginner trail runner, but if it gets too rough you can turn around. :-) The views make it more interesting than you might think. From the intersection with the South Mesa trail, you can go to many different destinations.
