Chequers Hair Studio

When I am ready for a cut & color, I ALWAYS go to Chequers Salon! Joyce (the owner) is a color "master" and I always get so many compliments on my hair, afterward!

I have been going to Chequers for over a year and have experienced nothing but an excellent cut and a wonderful experience. Joyce, the shop owner, cuts my hair. During my first visit, she listened and took notes as to the kind of hair style I wanted, and she gets it right every time. She is on schedule and courteous and friendly. We always have a good discussion about various topics. The small, boutique shop is clean, well lighted and easy to find. In my opinion, she works best with teens and up. not as well with kids. I highly recommend Chequers Hair Studio as a place to try. Michael

This is the best hair salon. I am a long term customer and love this place. Joyce is always perfect, she makes me feel beautiful. All staff is wonderful, I have great experience and leave happy and satisfied with all they do.

I've come here twice while visiting my best friend who lives just a mile away. Both times my hair has been cut perfectly. The first time I had long hair and cut it short for donation, and the second time I got a super cute short haircut again. Both times I let them do whatever they pleased and it turned out great. They have a good sense for what works best for you as a client. You won't come out of here regretting anything! Well worth the price.
