(December 14, 2018, 9:46 am)We've had a wonderful experience with Autana. The teachers are lovely, caring, and encouraging. The 1 star review below is from a former employee who worked for 2 weeks, and 2 weeks too long. They are a growing school and are about 1/2 to 2/3rds capacity now. There's an organic garden, great recreation structures, yoga, strong reading and math programs. Manners, cooperation, and positive reinforcement are taught. There is no time out of other negative encouragements. Most teachers speak Spanish only with the students and the students love speaking in Spanish in return. It's great to have a school where NAPs and HUGGING is integral to the core of care. The tuition is VERY reasonable. We've done both Waldorf for 14 years for our older children and a couple years of Montessori for our younger children. Both have their place, similarities, and large differences.
