Love this dog park! People are always friendly and dogs seem pretty well behaved.
Nice large space. A good number of dogs there at different times of the day. Have had mostly good experiences.
Nice wide open dog park with only the occasionally oblivious dog parent. They recently (over the last year) added a Porta-Potty for us humans. There is a small shelter for us less than hairy creatures lacking the built in sun blocking abilities that doubles as a nice place to stare at one's (totally guilty) mobile device.
Fresh water is available in the warmer months for your pooch to have a guzzle but in the colder months, bring your parka because the winds can make it feel like a scene out of a Star Wars Movie and don't forget to bring your own water as they shut the spigot off from maybe October to about May.
Also, for the love of Dog - merely picking up after your dear fur baby makes a deposit of cuteness DOES NOT count as picking up after them. Bring your own bags, and maybe leave a few for us who are too absent minded to remember one; and do be a dear and make sure those little baggies of doggie love get into the proper receptacle.
Nice and clean my boy loves it. Large area just gotta keep an close eye on the puppers since the area Is so large but perfect to let them run around. Picnic bench with roof structure, trash cans, poop bags, water when it's not frozen out, great view, and area for smaller furry friends in their own enclosure.
This is the only dog park in Longmont I will go to. I enjoy socializing with the other people and my dog loves to visit and play with the other dogs. The park is well maintained and the patrons keep up and do their part to keep the park a clean and friendly place to exercise and socialize our canine companions.
