Good place for a trail run. First 2.5 mills are uphill, but it levels out after that. Have yet to see a mountain lion, despite the sign. It gets busy in the warmer weather which can make it difficult to find parking if you aren't there early on the weekends or before rush hour during the week.
Really beautiful hikes. The trails are so well kept. There are usually a lot of mountain bikers - so if you’re hiking just be alert for them because they’re very fast! But they have a lot of trail options. We had a lot of fun.
Great hiking and mountain bike trails. Well maintained. If you are quiet you will even see mule deer and maybe even a mountain lion. Enjoy
Awesome hiking loops here shared by a ton of friendly mountain bikers whose numbers did a lot of work building these trails. Easy to moderately hilly climbing with different loops if you feel like exploring. We hiked here on two different days while visiting my son in Longmont. The 7.5 mile round trip hike to the lookout near sunset was totally worth it! Free parking and restrooms! We saw several deer on both days spent at the park.
Really beautiful park with a number of beautiful trails going from 2 miles to about 10 miles.
Great place for an active day outside.
Trail is treacherous when wet so I suggest waiting for a dry day, and bring plenty of water, the path is fairly steep.
