(January 23, 2019, 12:23 am)I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Nelson during my laparoscopic robotic endometriosis excision. From the very first interaction I had with him over email, he was very kind and explained everything to me that I needed to know. It took some time to get in, partially because of his schedule, and partially because of mine, but it was well worth the wait. He and his staff are wonderful at their jobs and very patient and understanding. I absolutely will and have recommended family and friends to Dr. Nelson.
My only complaint would be that it was a bit difficult to get in contact post op over the phone when I needed additional paperwork filed for my job. The office is very busy and messages sometimes seem to slip through the cracks if the issue doesn’t seem urgent enough, but I got a very sincere apology for the difficulties once I was in contact. Email is definitely more reliable than phone messages with the care team! I am still recovering from my surgery, but overall I can feel a difference and am very happy I was able to receive care from such a compassionate and competent doctor.

He’s thorough and he explains things in a way that make sense, not medical mumbo jumbo that doesn’t make sense. Would give 10 stars if I could, he changed my life. Highly recommend.

(June 27, 2014, 6:26 pm)Dr. Brian Nelson is everything a good doctor should be: skilled, current on best practices, kind, respectful, a good listener, balanced, and caring. Dr. Nelson performed a DaVinci robotic hysterectomy for me, and it couldn't have gone better. I feel he truly listened to my concerns and made the best recommendation for me, and the results have been great.

(December 14, 2013, 2:31 pm)Dr. Nelson is a magnificent doctor. I experienced a very large ovarian cyst and was turned away from an ER over a weekend. I was referred to him by my primary OBGYN and Nelson personally contacted me numerous times over a few day span and brought me into surgery where he was able to remove my very large cyst, recover my ovary and stop my internal bleeding. I was up and recovering within 24 hours after his surgery...it would have taken less time however I had lost 12 pounds in a few days and was experiencing some intense symptoms prior. I have experienced numerous surgeries laparoscopically and this one was the easiest to recover from. I would definitely refer him in a heart beat!
