Integrative Family Medicine - Dr. Nancy Brown

Dr. Brown is a genuine functional medical doctor. I have been her patient for several months. As I understand it, she specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that are difficult to diagnose and treat, especially conditions affecting multiple systems in the body. This is what I needed after a decade of seeing many well-meaning physicians who were unable to help me. Dr. Brown took a complete history, identified a possible diagnosis, and lab tests confirmed her suspicion. Subsequently, I read a nationally-recognized expert's book on my condition and I am relieved that Dr. Brown is approaching my treatment as recommended by that expert. It will take time, patience, resources and Dr. Brown's expertise for me to recover but I am very grateful to have a positive diagnosis at last and to be in her care.

There aren't enough google stars for this doctor and this office team. Dr. Brown has given me my life back and I will be forever grateful. I endured a 20 year journey through chronic illness and countless doctors, before landing in Dr. Brown's caring practice. While the other doctors I had seen over the years, each put different pieces of the puzzle together, Dr. Brown was the first to accurately diagnose me with chronic Lyme disease and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. With an accurate diagnosis and methodical treatment plan, I started to feel better within those first couple of months. Now, three years later, I'm almost at the end of the Lyme treatment and feeling better than I have in years. I am able to work again, do things that bring me joy, and even travel. The transformation has been nothing short of miraculous.

Yes, she is expensive. Yes, the supplements and compounded meds are expensive. But she also spends more time with her patients than any doctor I've ever been too. And her highly responsive, caring office staff are efficient and helpful. I wasn't able to work for 15 years b/c of my debilitating symptoms--now that is expensive!

If you have complex medical issues, especially related to tick born illness, I highly recommend Dr. Nancy Brown. She is unlike any doctor I’ve ever been to before. If you are her patient, you are not just a number who is rushed through an appointment. She spends time with her patients and truly listens and genuinely cares. She is methodical about finding answers to the medical problems her patients are experiencing. She works diligently to find just the right treatment, no matter how long or difficult that process is. I was so relieved to finally, at long last, to have answers to why I’d felt bad for so long. It wasn’t all just in my head as other doctors had made me feel. She has stuck with me and continues to tweak my treatments so that I continue to improve. She’s just the best!

I have been seeing Dr Nancy Brown for several months now for the treatment of mold toxicity and Lyme Disease.
