“Strong hippie vibe here, which I loved. I aspire to someday be able to embrace my inner zen but I'm a driven, travel all the time, high stress business woman. Due to my reality, I've messed up my shoulder something fierce. It's from dragging a huge carry on bag with me from flight after flight; I'm adamantly against checking bags. When I made my appointment, I might have been....unrealistically....expecting a miracle. My mother is a die hard acupuncture enthusiast and when I was little, she took me in for appointments (at another place) to help me with my allergies. I still have allergies but they are not nearly as bad as when I was a child. Sooooo.......I assumed that acupuncture is a cure all. Parking here is a breeze. The sliding scale payment option makes it much more affordable to try it out. Once I had checked in, I was instructed to enter the community room, where there are many comfy looking chairs to pick from. There was one woman with needles in and eyes closed but other than that, it appeared empty. Caroline approached me and we spoke in whispers about what was bothering me. She gave me the choice of laying on a table, where she could pull privacy curtains around me, or I could pick one of the chairs. Since I was okay with taking my shirt off, I chose the table. Caroline has wonderful energy and I felt immediately at ease with whatever she suggested. She inserted needles in my shoulder, ankles, and one of my fingers. She also used some kind of electrical stimulation also. She then left me laying on my side for about a half hour. The electrical zings became uncomfortable and the needle in my hand was super painful if I moved but other than that, the rest of the needles went unnoticed. I was able to doze off for a few minutes a couple of times and then that was that. End of session. Sadly for me, I went home in more pain than I came in with. It could just be a coincidence..... but I ended up cancelling my next appointment. That being said, I did enjoy the experience and wish I had the patience to see if a couple of sessions would actually work for my shoulder pain.”

“A great big park with all of the running space for your active pupper. They even have a smaller section for little dogs. It it pretty much all sand/dirt but that's part of the fun! There's maybe a few community toys, most broken so be sure to bring your own toys. The poop maintenance is a bit of a bummer, but there's always THOSE people at the parks.”

“We went on the Secluded Botswana Safari this last July/August. We were both concerned about the trip meeting our expectations because it was number one on our bucket list. I am thrilled to report that it far exceeded our expectations. The variety and quantity of animals was absolutely amazing. Our expedition leader (i.e. "guide") was knowledgeable beyond words. He knew the answer to all questions, could track so that we experienced every animal that we wanted to see and made us feel extremely safe while still experiencing close interactions. Also traveling with us was a safari coordinator who made sure that all our needs were met at the camps. The travel, transfers, etc. were flawless. The accommodations and food at the camps were terrific. I had never "camped" before so I was a little concerned about the accommodations. If you have any concern, be sure to look at the pictures. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. My husband and I spent years in the hotel industry so we were especially impressed by the quality of the food in the "middle of nowhere". It is hard to imagine the logistics necessary to create such an amazing experience. Wendy, our Adventure Specialist at Natural Habitat, was extremely responsive and made sure that any and all concerns were addressed. If you are considering an African safari experience, we strongly recommend Natural Habitat Adventures. It was the trip of a lifetime and beyond description. In fact, so much so, we have already booked our next adventure to Uganda and Rwanda for the Ultimate Gorilla Safari.”
