“Longmont Meals On Wheels provided 5 daily meals at no charge when my husband was released from rehab. He was at UCHEALTH Longmont for 4 weeks, then was transferred to UCHEALTH Broomfield for 2 weeks, then was transferred to Aviva rehab in Aurora for 2 weeks. Upon returning home, those 5 free meals gave me a little bit of a break after the back and forth driving, and sitting in the hospital for hours, and more than once a day while he was in Longmont. He liked those meals so much he decided he wanted to continue delivery! It also gives him a variety of meals, something different, like he was getting used to at Aviva rehab in Aurora. “We had our oldest daughter in Tiny Minders South from the time we moved here when she was 13 months until she started school, and now we have our youngest here. We've always been very pleased with the directors and teachers. They keep the facility clean and are communicative with us as parents about our kids and goings-on at the daycare. I like that our girls get familiar with ALL of the teachers even though they have a primary teacher for each level of class, but by getting to know all of the teachers, it makes each classroom transition smooth. One of her first comments was that my daughter has so much in there that needs to come out. I love how Shayna realizes this and comes from a place of confidence in my daughter's abilities. She is patient and in each session takes the time to explain things that may be confusing and/or acknowledge what my daughter is saying and then help her put more and more of the pieces together. She is thoughtful in her approach and yet flexible with her goals. I have never felt like she puts pressure on my daughter but encourages her to feel confident in what she is saying and her abilities. My daughter loves coming to her lessons each week and feels a great sense of pride afterward.
