(January 20, 2019, 1:27 pm)Finally... a GREAT place for kids and teens hang out. McKay Lake Park and Open Lands offers a number of outdoor activities. The bike park hosts a pump track, skills loop & high level jump track (bring your helmet). The activities area offers a fitness loop, slides, tunnels and some of the coolest climbing structures I’ve seen in an outdoor park. Plan to go when it’s dry... it does tend to get a bit muddy in inclement weather.

(January 4, 2019, 11:45 am)This is a great park for kids to run around and explore. The bike park for kids is just perfect, my daughter was able to ride around on her balance bike and had a great time.

(September 10, 2018, 10:22 pm)This is a great new park! My kids loved the tunnels the most. The natural logs and stumps are fun to climb and cross. The bike park adds even more variety. The Beaver Dam climbing structure is 13+. The only caution is that there are sunflowers around the playground that attract wasps and bees, so anyone sensitive should beware. We will return soon.
