Updated to add: just went in today to have the clarinet tuned up for my daughter who's taking it over. The service is still fantastic, they're very helpful in ordering all things "Barbie pink" per her request. Ligature, clarinet t-shirt and case, all pink!
Best service! Michael is always very friendly and the repair cost was very reasonable.
Brian, the owner, is a World class Musical Instrument Repair Technician as well as a really nice guy. I have real work and repairs done by this establishment.
We went in to RMMR today to have an issue fixed on my son's saxophone and to pick up some reeds. It was our first time there - a long haul from our house on the other side of town, but highly recommended by his band teacher. Wow, what an amazing shop! The friendliest people at this family-run place! They quickly repaired the immediate issue on the sax, and then recommended bringing it in during the summer for some more overhaul work. They were also hosting a "secret Santa" event for local music teachers later this week, and we took the opportunity to buy some items to add to the giveaway.
This is the only place we'll go from now on for all of our instrumental music needs!
I had my sax get a tune-up (check over pads, air leak check, adjust tension rods, etc) at Rocky Mountain Music Repair, and now I can’t stop playing because I love the performance of my horn! I have been playing sax for 35 years and I have never been happier with the performance of my horn. It is wild to feel this level of excitement to make music due to the new realized potential of my horn. I want to thank Brian at Rocky Mountain Music for proving his superb ability with horns knowing that I don’t let just anyone work on my saxes. As the sax player of the Denver Broncos and HomeSlice, I need to be able to count on my equipment performing at optimal levels, and now I know to trust in Rocky Mountain Music Repair as my number one choice for both my alto and tenor. I am a new fan of Rocky Mountain Music Repair!
RMMR has been caring for my horns (and me) ever since they opened shop in Broomfield. They’ve been absolutely accommodating, more than reasonable with repair times and prices, exactly what you could expect with a mom and pop shop, snd yes they are a mom and pop. Don’t mess around elsewhere, get your work or find you horn and supplies to buy here! I was able to buy this hellagreat euphonium new at a price that couldn’t be beat.
