Beaver Brook Watershed East Parking Area

Not a large parking area but it fits about 15 cars or so & it's right next to the trailhead. This trail is not very difficult but was a challenge upon returning to the car as it is slightly uphill & we were exhausted from walking around the body of water. The reservoir was beautfiul to look at & there were many spots by the water to just sit & enjoy.

One of my favorite area hikes. Goes down to the reservoir and then back up through the first mile. Then take left turn at the junction and follow for about a mile until there is a turn off across the creek to the right. Always stay to the right going out. I've gone as far as 4 miles and then turned around. Stay to the left at each option going back. Feels like really deep woods even though just three miles up Squaw Pass.

This is a great hiking area but there is no public restroom. The trail goes by a reservoir but there is no swimming and no dogs allowed in it. There is a small creek for the dogs to cool off in. The trail is a steady decline to start out.
