  Our docent, David, was amazing! He has such a knowledge of this beautiful historic hotel and a passion for sharing his knowledge. The tour took about an hour and you will learn so much about the mysterious Frenchman and his life. Because of circumstances, nearly everything in the hotel is original to the time period. Highly recommend!

  I gave this 4 stars only because you can only see the hotel if you pay for a tour. The tours happen on the top of the hour. I really wanted to see this but could not get a tour. Hopefully next time, I am sure it would be amazing. It would have been nice to just step into the lobby but with out a tour you cant do that.

  Very cool!! Our tour guide was knowledgeable. The artifacts are original and neat. So happy we are able to enjoy this beautiful preserved landmark.

  How wonderful....! A charming surprise in Georgetown. A magnificent museum hidden away in the mountains . Each item in this hotel is genuin to the hotel and its history .This property's owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation .They have done a fantastic job preserving this incredible property . Could not be more happy that I stumbled upon it and took the tour . My tour guide was extremely knowledgeable . I only wish it was open to stay the night and wake to a wonderful breakfast .I will look forward to returning
