(October 6, 2019, 1:06 pm)My buddy and I hiked to Lake Edith. The trail is a mix of oh my goodness elevation gain , look at these cool roots and trees, flat easy walking, beautiful views, plenty of friendly dogs that need some petting and super friendly dog chaperones and hikers.
10 of 10 would do again . Nearly the elevation gain of an easier 14er with 3000 ft extra oxygen ! -

(September 30, 2019, 4:07 pm)Campground is currently closed (not sure if it's seasonal or fire ban?). The hike to Hells hole, which starts just beyond the campground, is lovely though, 8 miles, lots of beautiful aspens at the start.
