I have worked with Dr. Ravin for almost 14 years. His treatments have solved many of my physical challenges from multiple car accident injuries as well as scoliosis. His treatments are spot on and highly effective when combined with rehabilitation and strength training. I believe that working with Dr. Ravin helped me to avoid shoulder surgeries, hip replacements, and possible spine fusion had I stuck with conventional medicine practices. I am forever grateful to him for the work he does!
I had several surgeries and i still was always in pain. I was not able to live a normal life. Weekends would be my couch and the grocery store would take all my energy. It was too painful to push my cart or carry my groceries. I have seen Dr. Ravin for over 6 years. I now am living like, salsa dancing, hiking, rafting, traveling and making plans. Having injured my SI joint 7 years ago, I have been to a multitude of specialists including chiropractic, acupuncture, muscle activation technique, osteopathic and a few more. Pain and limited mobility were my constant angst. My PCP recommended a physical therapist who helped immensely. After being treated by PT for 5 years, I would sometimes need adjustments 2-3 times a month. Scoliosis exasperated the injury, even with strengthening exercises. They suggested I see Dr Ravin. He was the last part of the equation, his technique was the missing piece to my cure. Absolutely phenomenal outcome! There are many things I like about Dr. Ravin, though in particular, he takes time to discuss options with you, explains what's going on, and won't treat if he doesn't think it will be of benefit. I have my level of activity back, and am very grateful!
