  The rental aisle was very busy with cars being delivered as customers were exiting. The car I selected showed a warning light as I approached the exit. I was able to return the car and was provided a replacement promptly. Problems do occur once in a while even at the best run organizations. Addressing them quickly is one of the things that keeps me renting from National.

  Associates were nice and also helpful. Overall, seems to be a well-run operation.
  Only negative was, upon arrival, there were 2 unoccupied vehicles in the executive section (of maybe only 8 total) that were locked. When I asked an associate what the situation was, they explained that they must have already been "taken" by someone else. Waited for a good 10+ min and never saw these people. So I was surprised this location lets people stow away a vehicle, then walk away for 15, 20, 60? min..... And come back whenever it's convenient to drive off the lot. Kind of like throwing beach towels on a bunch of chairs at the pool when there are only a few left, and then not using.
  I've been renting through National for 15 years and have never seen this at another location.

  My experience with National Car Rental was great right from the beginning. I was able to get a great rate online, first of all. I was then allowed to pick up the car sooner than my reservation at no additional charge because I ended up getting to my destination earlier than expected. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The SUV I chose was new & clean, very pleasant to drive. I would definitely use National again in the future.
