My first experience with him was from a referral from the local 4x4 club - I had been through 2 or 3 rebuilt steering boxes from the major parts stores and each one was worse than the last.
Went to Humberto and he rebuilt a steering gear for me. The backlash on the sector shaft was set PERFECTLY. There is zero play in the new gear and it feels better than a new factory steering gear.
Second experience was after going through several reman power steering pumps, same situation. Garbage!
Called Humberto at 9 AM on Saturday, he had a core on the shelf that he immediately started rebuilding and had finished around noon.
Bar none - the best steering re-builder in the Denver area. Don't even waste time on the "lifetime" warranty parts from the big chain stores.
EDIT:
1 year and almost 25k miles later and everything is still flawless. Rock crawling, desert running, and general heavy use and abuse - steering gear is still nice and tight and my steering pump is quiet with 1-finger steering. -

(May 26, 2017, 5:43 pm)Honest fast friendly and quality work. Very reasonable prices and lots of experience. I will be taking all my power steering items here from now on. Was very knowledgeable even on obscure early Ford Bronco power steering boxes. I would definitely recommend.
