  I had my first acupuncture treatment with Dr. Igor. He is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he cares a lot about his patients. I felt very relaxed after my treatment.

  If you’re searching for a great acupuncturist, look no further! Trust me - Avicenna Acupuncture is the single best source of acupuncture my husband and I have found in the state! We spent two years searching for another acupuncturist after ours moved out of state, and none compare to Igor. He has helped both my husband and I improve our health dramatically in the past couple months and his compassion is unmatched. He’s a wealth of knowledge and he really puts time and care into every treatment. Plus, the office/rooms are always perfectly clean. As long as he is practicing, we will be patients! I’ve yet to meet his wife, who also practices at Avicenna, but I have no doubt that she is just as wonderful. I’d give this place ten stars if I could.

  went in to see Igor after having some muscle pain and tightness for a few months, never ceases to amaze me what acupuncture can do! after just one session all of my ailments were cured. have been back since for some relaxation and cupping treatments. awesome! highly recommend!

  I cannot sing Avicenna's praises highly enough! My experience has been more than I could ever have hoped for: I've seen a marked decrease in pain, and my gynecologist is no longer recommending surgery.
  
  I started seeing Igor at Avicenna last summer. Prior to this, I had experienced acupuncture in a community setting, and treatments had focused on issues with sleep, headaches, and neuralgic pain from an old car accident. I never expected the amazing gifts have resulted from a year of treatment from Igor!
  
  For several years I'd also struggled with pain associated with ovulation and menstruation - some months the pain would be so bad that I would pass out, or be in bed for days - but I had never thought to seek acupuncture treatment for it. At our first session, Igor spent a long time asking me about my physical and mental health history as well as my goals. To Igor, all of my complaints were connected. We discussed how acupuncture combined with custom-blended Chinese herbs could ease pain and also complement the recommendations of my medical doctor, who had recommended a diagnostic ultrasound and possible surgery.
  
  Our goals were to reduce pain across the board, balance my hormones, and improve my health to prepare me for surgery if necessary. Over the course of the year, I saw Igor weekly. In addition to acupuncture treatments and an ever-shifting mix of Chinese herbs taken daily, Igor guided me in small changes to my diet and physical activity. Each month saw marked improvement in instances of acute pain (in the worst example, I experienced nausea-inducing pain for over 48 hours, but I was regularly too sick to work at least two days a month), as well as steady improvement in flares of neuralgic pain. Not only do I now average only 4-6 hours of *much less intense* menstrual pain, I've had more and more days free of nerve pain.
  
  The big win came after a second diagnostic ultrasound, which led my gynecologist to no longer recommend surgery! I was so relieved and happy! Before seeing Igor, I didn't have any hopes for avoiding surgery - my goal had been only to get my hip to stop hurting. This past year has seen improvements that I never dreamed would be possible, all thanks to Avicenna!

  Igor and his wife are a wealth of knowledge. I am seeing him for shoulder and back pain and I am blown away after just one visit. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You have nothing to lose. Wish I had done this years ago.
