I just moved here from Arizona and Dr Velez was recommended by the dialysis clinic here. I was amazed at the amount of detailed questions on my first visit. I could tell she really cared and was going to be very thourough in my care. Just days after that visit I needed emergency care, and her office recommended Porter Hospital. I have been battling kidney disease for the last 4 years, and I can honestly say that Dr Velez went over and above caring for me during that Hospital stay, including calling my liver and pain management Dr’s in Arizona and coordinating getting tests done here so I did not have to travel back to Arizona for those tests. Dr Velez is a godsend and makes this horrible disease much more bearable. Thank you Dr Velez for all that you have done for me.
Dr. Yanover is a caring and professional doctor and the staff at Kidney Associate of Colorado are very helpful and friendly.
First visit and the Staff was so friendly esp the Medical Assistant that helped me before my visit with Dr.Velez. She felt like a good friend. Such an asset. Dr.Velez was Amazing. I felt very comfortable and she explained everything to me. So glad my Doctor wanted me to go here. No regrets
I have been bringing my aunt in for over a year and the staff is always so pleasant. My aunt is very happy with the staff at this location - Plus, It's not often I feel comfortable waiting with others during their appointments but the front desk lady always seems to greet us with a smile, she is always so warm, friendly and definitely makes my waiting experience so pleasant that it doesnt even feel like I'm waiting.
Thank you!
I had such a good experience in your office yesterday. The front desk gal is top notch. She went above and beyond to help resolve my problem. Thank you.

When both of your kidneys fail, you will need treatment to help your body continue those vital functions. There are two different types of dialysis therapy options: peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. For in-center dialysis, we will refer you to Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC), our primary dialysis partner.
