  I have been attending St. Johns for over 8 years now. My wife and I tried it out when we were still dating and found the community to be one we could see in our future. Now with kids we have joined a very special life group and enjoy the friendships we have developed all the while deepening our faith.

  St. John’s has welcomed me from day one and I have always felt the love of God through my fellow members. The word of God is taught and praise and worship are amazing! We fellowship with life groups and gather to help in the community. I am thankful that God brought me to St. John’s Lutheran Church.

  St. John’s is a warm and welcoming place whose motto is serving the community and neighbors here in Wash Park, as well as greater Denver. And, you don’t need to live in the Wash Park area to experience the hospitality, worship and support this wonderful church offers. The pastoral staff is great. They inject humor, compassion, thoughtfulness and love into their sermons. I’ve been going to St. John’s for years and finally became a member a few years ago. I feel very supported and appreciated here. The church also offers a K- 8 school and daycare and youth group. If you’re looking for a dynamic church home that offers many activities and ways you can worship and you want opportunities to make a positive impact on the world around you, I highly recommend you check out St. John’s.

  The community at St. John's has been a profound blessing for me and my family. We love coming to St. John's every Sunday and look forward to the community, connection and messages from Pastor Michael and Pastor Andrew each week. The children's church is a warm, welcoming and fun place for my children to learn about Jesus. We enjoyed the Next Steps class led by Pastor Andrew. This class and Pastor Andrew's guidance has helped us see the ways in which we can deepen our relationship to God and be of more service. I highly recommend St. John's... you will be welcomed and cherished!

  Such a great Church Community to be a part of. The greeters are always friendly and take time to know your name as well as if you're new. Worship is beautiful, and the Pastors aren't afraid to really preach the Word and don't include the "feel-good fluff". Lastly, there's no judgement. "Come as you are" stands true at St. John's!
