Great place to ride when you're short on time - close to town, easy access and usually never crowded. Lots of single track options to choose from - make it a quick loop, or circle the entire Open Space and stay on the outside loop as you ride.
Beautiful views. Very little shade, so we may prefer this in the colder months. It is great to have this sort of wilderness area so close to home.
Great trails right in town.
Love it here. Rolling hills, deer, not very crowded.
Great place to hike with kids. Good maps so you don't get lost. Trail connects to a wider trail system. Bike it or snowshoe it when conditions are right. Parking space. Great views! Picknick benches, no tables.

The Ridgeline Wranglers meet monthly to help the Town maintain Stewart Trail at Ridgeline Open Space. In addition they provide valuable feedback on improvements, rerouting and future development. This meeting will review work outing plans for the season and answer questions that any interested volunteers may have.
The event will highlight the soft surface trails that are a part of the town's largest ever park project. The race will begin near Castle Rock's state-of-the-art Miller Athletic Complex, a beautiful $30 million venue. The race course will showcase the trails in Phillip S Miller Park and the adjacent Ridgeline Open Space.
