(March 11, 2019, 4:20 pm)Beautiful place to hike but the chuck’s loop trail needs more clear signage! It’s VERY easy to get off the trail. Husband and I were out with our two young children and barely made it out before it was fully dark. I was in a panic. Please make more signage.

(January 7, 2019, 7:56 pm)We loved it. Our 5 and 7 year old kids absolutely loved the 1.8 mile Chuck’s loop. We highly recommend it. Great scenery and lots of great opportunities for pictures. The kids really enjoyed themselves. We will definitely come back.

Gateway Mesa Open Space In August 1999, the Town of Castle Rock acquired Gateway Mesa with assistance from Douglas County, Great Outdoors Colorado and Colorado Open Lands.
