  Very very caring & compassionate! Our 14 year old long haired chihuahua has been a patient of Dr. La Fauci’s since early 2020–after being diagnosed with a pretty severe heart murmur. Dr. La Fauci goes to great lengths to explain our chihuahua’s health status to us at every appointment, and we get detailed information + imaging that shows exactly what is happening with her heart. Even though our chihuahua’s condition has continued to progress, we have her on medications that keep her perky and comfortable…and we’ve seen a real turn around at least in our dog’s behavior. Our once lethargic and anti-social senior pup is now VERY perky, social, and back to constantly wiggling her rump and wagging her tail. It’s been wonderful to see, and it makes the expense of this veterinary specialist so worth it! The staff here is excellent & I’m so thankful to have them available here to us in Castle Rock!

  We were referred to Petcardia by our vet for my dogs heart murmur. The doctors, techs, front end staff and everyone in between made a nerve wracking experience safe and comfortable for Luna. Very thankful for everyone at Petcardia!

  We cannot give this place enough stars. Our puppy first started coming here for his heart condition. They were detailed and walked us through everything that needed done to give him the best life. We decided on surgery, the outcome was great and we go back for checkups now. The staff and doctors and welcoming and truly make us feel like our dog is their favorite:) and that we are family. Highly recommend.

  Our sweet basset mix who is 11 years old developed a heart murmur. Our primary vet recommended Petcardia for follow up and treatment. We met with and have continued care with Dr. LaFauci. She is kind, caring, and very knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain what is happening with his heart, how she feels about his recent results, and what we can expect. Her communication to our primary vet is so helpful and I know they work together to ensure the best care for our dog. The staff at Petcardia is very helpful with medication refills and appointment scheduling. I would definitely recommend Petcardia.

  I was referred to Dr. Kendra LaFauci, and the team at Petcardia Castle Rock, after Dr. Deb Patterson at Brooklyn Veterinary (My amazing vet) in Castle Rock discovered a heart murmur in my ageing Ridgeback during a yearly exam.
  
  I was very nervous, as my beloved King is nearly nine, and is at the age that large breed dogs could start to have issues.
  
  I called and made the next available appointment for a few days away. Unfortunately, Covid has us sitting in our cars, while the medical staff comes out and get your dog, so I did not get to even meet the Dr, who would be treating my special family member.
  
  I was there at the correct time, called in, and withing a minute or two they were out to retrieve my dog. The staff were very nice, and professional.
  
  When they were finished, Dr. Kendra LaFauci called me herself, to walk me through a meticulous, and thorough review of all of my dogs many heart tests. To be honest, since I am in the legal field, and have never had a heart issue with any of the 8 or so dogs that I have raised in my life, much of the analysis was very technical, but she made it very easy to understand.
  
  In the end, my dog is fine, and is just experiencing age related issues, for the most part, and did not even need any heart meds. The way that Dr. Kendra LaFauci delivered the details of his current condition and follow-up requests was so professional that I would have liked to have thanked her for the incredible piece of mind that she gave me in person, but thanks to Covid, we never met. That is too bad...
  
  I just want to finish by saying that Dr. LaFauci shared with me that she has a beloved dog in her home that has been diagnosed with cancer, and has not got much time left. Having gone through that with several past dogs, I know the pain, and the stress that creates. I just want her to know that I will be praying that her baby feels no pain, and only love, for the remaining time. And that her family will have the strength to deal with a painful time. Dr. Kendra LaFauci is one the nicest, most professional veterinarians that I have ever encountered, and she is compassionate and very down-to-earth. Thank you!
