  This school is great. It's got a bland outside, but it's filled with creativity and great learning techniques. One of the great things about this school is the roof. There's no ceiling, just a roof, which allows students & staff to see the structure and architecture of the building. The learning technique is different because, instead of usual teacher says things to students and students remember, it's mostly self-directed and the students actually analyze the knowledge, create things with the knowledge, and actually learn how to use it in real life. There are barely any worksheets and packets, which reduces stress on students. I love the idea of having no indoor hallways, because it allows students to experience the outside world much more. It does have a relatively small gym, but overall, I highly recommend this school.

  I really love this school. It has really helped me be more outgoing and happy. My last school was so much stress and pressure on grades. Here we go on field trips and really focus on learning rather than memorizing. I really enjoy the projects and I think it is a great way to learn about important things that are going on now in the world and will help us in the future. I’ve made so many great friends, and I can’t see myself ever switching school. I’m really happy to be part of this community

  The staff is welcoming and very kind, and the school itself has an atmosphere that is extremely amazing where you feel welcome and accepted. Though I think that the school could definitely improve on the education itself, I love the way that they teach, as the hands on method helps me to learn more easily and faster as well. Whenever I enter the school in the morning, I feel a sense of home, which I feel is extremely important for a school to have. If there’s no sense of home, students can’t feel fully comfortable, and having the sense on home that RSS has makes for a great learning environment. This is a school that everyone is accepted in and is free to express themselves. Though this school isn’t perfect, no school really is. And people have to remember that this is only the first year, and things will change depending on the feedback that the get. People should definitely give this school a try. It might not be the right place for everyone, but I think that it’s the right place for me.

  Such a great school and all the teachers are kind. The teachers make it so we have no homework cause if it gets in the way of fun things like family or sports and friends why have it. Start time is 9 and ends at 4:25 so plenty of time to learn and in the morning I have plenty of time to get ready and we come in and have a class called advisory which we can talk about feelings and people will understand. This is a great school and more kids should come and see what I see.????
