(November 20, 2019, 8:14 pm)My name is Ruby Allen. I spent some time at Denver Springs psychiatric hospital, the staff is the best very professional, caring, everyone was wonderful. But the people that manage I’m not too sure about a new hospital with paint peeling it’s ridiculous. There is not enough time to eat they should let you go for at least an hour there is no diabetic menu. There is insulin if you need it I am a type two diabetic. I can’t imagine what a type one would go through there, I had to receive insulin instead of getting the proper nutrition. It is not the fault of the kitchen staff that they are being so cheap to not supply the proper nutrition for their patients. I appreciate everything all the staff did for me. However management needs to get feedback from staff so that the hospital can run smoothly. Goodwill gives coats what is the problem ??? There are no products that are good for your hair or skin if you’re not Caucasian. The kitchen staff was phenomenal they did what they could with what they had it is not their fault that there was no diabetic menu except for sugar free syrup. Therapists nursing staff, PCA staff, psychiatrist, kitchen, housekeeping, they all go above and beyond probably not paid enough for all they do, I appreciate each and everyone of them for their professionalism and kindness. Maybe they should change management. I mean where did the money go was it to just pay management? I think someone should check the books. I know this may seem disrespectful but the truth is the truth.
