  A terrific hiking loop! Wondrous vistas, pretty wild flowers and interesting rock formations. Allow for plenty of time to enjoy at your leisure so pack a lunch and reap the rewards.

  Nice area with plenty of trails for hiking with or without dogs and riding horses. I did the Spruce Moutain Loop and it was 5.6 miles total, less than 1000 feet of elevation gain. The parking lot is big and easily accessible with any kind of vehicle. Parts of the trail were icy but overall not difficult at all.

  Always love coming here. I usually hike up to paddocks point. It's a pretty spot overlooking stone if the neighboring buttes and only about one mile in but it's uphill almost the whole way there (but down hill the whole way back if you turn around). Dogs frequent the tail and I've seen horses as well, I believe bikes are also allowed. The trail up to paddocks is narrow but enough to pass by other groups. It's usually pretty frequented and gets busier in the afternoon, but I love it here, nice easy hike with the dog and great views!

  Great hike, beautiful views of the prairie and front range mountains. Not very happy with Douglas county and the public restrooms. They can do better at maintaining, ????no tissue paper.
  Bring ur own and go in the woods with the bears. ???? other than that, bring water because u need while hiking the Switchback Trail up to the top which is most of the trail but if you love hiking you will love this Trail

  Fantastic open space with shaded trails that go up to several great lookout points. There are also connected trails along meadows as well. This is one of the best Douglas County Open Spaces! Parking generally is adequate and the trails are well maintained. Easy to moderate hiking. Dogs, as well as bikers are all welcome here. Trails are also well marked.
