Dr. Stephen Thon - Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon (Lone Tree Office)

My 80-year-old mother broke her hip and a bone near her knee. Dr. Thon performed the surgery and was great; he kept me apprised every step of the way, explained things without talking down to me, was patient when answering my questions and was always a phone call away. Four months later, after a routine check up, Dr. Thon still called me and gave an update on her condition. If/when I need an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Thon is the one!

Dr. Thon and his staff are truly caring and show that by their willingness to hear your story. They listen to your peculiar problems with your injury....and the life issues that surround you that especially effect your recovery. My visit at Dr. Thon's office went extremely well. We were greeted by Ali Vanek. She has a great way of making you feel welcome and comfortable. She answered questions directly. Once she completed her time with us we knew exactly what to expect with our visit with Dr. Thon. The wait before seeing Dr. Thon was very short. As with Ali he attentively listened to me and then mapped out a plan for the treatment of my Left Quadricep Rupture. I could not have had a better visit. I had an MRI later in the day and by 9:00AM the next day he called me to confirm the results of the MRI. He scheduled my surgery for 3 days later. Surgery went well with follow up by Dr. Thon and I am now healing and getting ready for Physical Therapy.

Dr Thon is great!! He took my rotator cuff that I was told was unrepairable and worked his magic. Repaired my rotator cuff. I now have now pain and more functionality in my shoulder. He is attention to his patients is unmatched. Very detailed oriented. And great bedside manner with hi patients. His expertise and concern for his patients is fantastic. I would recommend Dr Thon to anyone seeking any orthopedic procedure.
