(March 28, 2018, 4:01 pm)Had routine colonoscopy and a tumor was discovered in my ascending colon to large to be removed during this procedure. Surgery was scheduled for a few weeks later. Surgery was at Parker Adventist Hospital and went in my opinion quite well. Like anytime after surgery there was a time that I felt pretty rough, but was given med's to handle the pain and discomfort. They had me up and walking a few hours after surgery which really helped me recover. Continued to walk even after leaving hospital. Dr. Sun and his staff were amazing in making sure I was doing ok.
