(January 4, 2019, 10:27 pm)Dr. Hall is an extremely patient and kind Doctor. She carefully listens to my many issues and never seems to think I’m a hypercondriac. She has done her research on rare diseases like CMT1A which is what I have. It doesn’t just effect my distal areas. I was first informed that CMT1A would effect basically my feet and hands. Today, she listened to me as I described how my throat muscles seem to be tightened and I am having trouble with eating and drinking. I am occasionally
upchucking after eating or drinking. I need to relax and use an inhaler when I’m stuffed up. It’s an embarrassing problem, but she makes me feel comfortable enough to talk about these serious problems! I told her it’s probably from eating too much of the caramel I made. She jumped right in to give me her recipe for fudge! I love a Doctor who is down to earth and not judgemental. I have enough to deal with. I just cannot say enough about Dr. Hall. I have had her as my Doctor for about 20 years, I think! She makes sure I leave her office feeling like we covered everything. That in itself if what everyone needs in their Doctor. I have had Doctors who say things like, ‘CMT1A does not cause pain. I want to somehow put a hex on them so they feel what I endure constantly! If a Doctor reacts that way to me, I don’t come back. I need a Doctor who listens and checks out what I suggest as a possible help for my symptoms. I’m the one who lives in this body! I believe that might be first hand information! Dr. Hall has always done this. I think she saved my life once because of her care. I had a DVT that was quite serious. She responded to my email within minutes and scheduled me for an appointment. I believe it was on its way to my lungs. Thank God for Dr. Hall’s ability to listen and react! I have complete trust in Dr. Hall!
