(October 18, 2018, 6:53 pm)It’s just a big hill, not a traditional mine. There’s a number of dispersed camping spots, clearly heavily used, lots of glass. The main attraction, besides camping and motorcycling in the area, is obviously rock hounding. Hillside is littered with dig sites. Had a great time looking for quartz crystals. No facilities, very rough short four wheel road. stone fire pits but signs indicate they are not allowed.
