“I have been casually visiting this park with my kids over the last year(ish). My kids have fondly nicknamed it sandbox park; that is the main attraction for them. We bring our own sand toys when the geese aren't around; you can probably guess why. I really like the updates to the park. There were already 2 baby/toddler swings, a gazebo structure with 3 picnic tables and trash receptacle, a basketball court, a multi-purpose field, several beds of/for flowers, and shady green spaces. Now you can also find a toddler friendly "play structure" with slide +features, a brand new bike rack, and even rental bikes are available here. The sandy gravel "play yard fill" has been refreshing and nostalgic; since mulch became seemingly popular. In the warmer months there may be a port-o-potty available. Also! There is at least one pretty gnarly pot-hole in the parking lot.”
