  I wanted the next best thing to a home birth and the ability to give birth on my own terms (and my baby's). Choosing the birth center was the best thing I did. The midwifes and nurses took such care of me throughout my first pregnancy and my little one when she finally arrived.Although you cannot control everything about your pregnancy or delivery you can pick whom you want to care for you and your baby and Beginnings Birth Center is one of the best!

  I went to Beginnings Birth Center for my prenatal care and the birth of my first baby. I had such a wonderful experience. I felt like my wishes and desires for my pregnancy and birth experience were completely respected and I felt like the midwives genuinely cared about the health and well-being of myself and my baby. I received wonderful, proactive care at the birth center from all the midwives. If I have another child in the future, I will definitely be returning under their care!

  Beginnings is an amazing place! We really enjoyed our Hypnobirthing Class here, and the Midwives always had plenty of time for our questions at each pre- and post-natal appointment. They took such good care of us after our son was born and we are so grateful for the way they loved on our older children when they came to visits, too. Top-notch cleanliness, bed-side manner, empowering of our personal values and vision, and celebration of our story! THANK YOU and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Beginnings to anyone looking for a wholistic education/birth/care experience.

  It’s hard to put into words how empowering my experience was at Beginnings. When I initially became pregnant with my son, I was going to go the OBGYN/Hospital route. after a few visits with my OB, I decided the environment wasn’t for me: the visits were always super quick and my DR just seemed distant and somewhat cold. I decided that since I knew I wanted a natural birth and because I was low risk, I decided to switch to Beginnings to see if I was a candidate to birth there. I was and so I began my care with them.
  
  From the first visit, I felt welcomed and supported, and always felt like they were getting to know ME during my visits and were always giving me more than enough time to ask questions I might have.
  
  They always made me feel empowered to make the decisions that worked for me for my pregnancy and birth and were always so knowledgeable about all the things I had questions about.
  
  While every midwife there is incredible, by the time my son’s birth came around, I felt like I had really clicked with Midwives Heather and Jolene and was happy to hear that they were the midwives on call when I went into labor.
  
  When I got to the birth center to give birth, their calm, positive, and excited attitudes put me at ease and gave me the encouragement that I was capable of birthing my baby the best way my body knew how, which I did - I quite suddenly caught my own baby, and Heather did an amazing job staying calm and making sure everything was ok with him.
  
  After the birth I needed a good amount of stitches and Jolene and Heather did a great job keeping me calm and getting the job done with professionalism and grace. I felt so cared for by them.
  
  Thank you so much, Beginnings Birth Center staff, for everything you do. The women in your care are so blessed to have you taking care of them.

  As someone who has had a hospital birth and now a birth center birth, I can’t tell you how extraordinary my experience was at Beginnings. I feel extremely privileged to have had my son at Beginnings Birth Center. Every single person there was so kind and loving, they listened to me, had empathy and helped me every step of the way. The rooms were nicer than many 5 star hotels I have stayed in and the care I received was incredible. There was no fear during this birth like I experienced at the hospital, they brought me coconut water, checked the baby’s heart beat all throughout the labor and the water birth will be one of my greatest memories of all time. I was empowered by every one of the incredible midwives who work there. One of the greatest parts of the birth was the fresh bread they make and bring to you after all the amazing work you have just done. Nothing compares! You will thank your lucky stars for working with these incredible people.
