Wow. This zoo is absolutely amazing. Everywhere I visit I like to check out what each zoo has to offer. This zoo is one of the best I have been to. It is quaint, clean, and has enthusiastic and kind staff. There are plenty of animals to see, though the zoo is smaller. There are options to feed the giraffe and birds for a small amount. The wallaby's are free roaming in an exhibit allowing for you to get very close in contact with the animal. If you're looking for a great zoo to visit that is both adult and kid friendly, this zoo needs to be on your list.
I have visited this zoo a few times over the years and am always impressed. First time during Covid and the majority of guests wore masks but there are always some that refuse and some forget to distance. The staff was great, all wearing masks and sanitizing tables, limiting the number of people to the indoor exhibits. Well done and thank you!
A new favorite zoo. This zoo doesn't have it all but does offer many unique experiences such as feeding giraffes and petting wallaby. Built into a hillside it gives you some good exercise as well. The zoo did a nice job of managing COVID. Their policies were not a nuisance at all.
I will rate this on the experience of the park. One note in general is that families were not all wearing their masks in the park, but with the mandate not being mandatory that is their choice.
Our family loves wildlife. We have lived in Colorado for 3.5 years and this was our 1st time at the zoo. It is a true zoo that sits in the mountainside. You have an option to use a ski lift of sorts to go up and down the mountain, definitely don't recommend if you are afraid of heights.
The food options were plentiful. Options of healthy and fun foods. Great experiences you can pay a low price for including feeding an elephant, which is my son's favorite animal and feeding my favorite, giraffes. They get up close and personal. We stayed for 3 hours and only experienced half the park. Definitely worth the trip.

Address: 250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. I haven't been to the zoo in a long time but our visit last Saturday will have us going more often! The improvements to the zoo are amazing, the penguin exhibit is worth the trip alone.
