  Gracie Barra Colorado Springs has been an amazing experience so far. I have been attending for about three months. I train in the 0515 class with Coach Paul and am continuously impressed by his ability to teach and break down concepts, taking time on individuals to ensure understanding. Gracie Barra is always clean, consistent and enjoyable. The variety of class times got me there, and the quality instruction keeps me there. Highly recommend this amazing school to anyone and everyone.

  Pay for promotion. Doesn’t matter your skill set or prior experience. Even my class mates were thinking something was wrong and wondering why I haven’t been promoted. It’s purely attendance, so if you have a real job, little girls will pass you up that have half your ability and knowledge. Forget studying outside of class, you won’t get promoted any faster. Makes you want to give up. No incentive. New gym and I’m happy that I moved on. Great instructors for the most part except one that I despised who was a purple and now a brown belt (he deserves the two stripes in white). Great group of people and very organized. Great owners. I come from a Sambo, MMA and wrestling background. I just couldn’t relate here. Not for me.

  Strong women’s program, welcoming and friendly environment, and amazing jiu jitsu and muay thai. GB Colorado Springs has been a perfect place to train while in town on rotation for 7 weeks. Professor Vanessa worked with me to help me feel welcomed as a visitor and especially part of the women’s community, and Professor Dan teaches great muay thai. You will not only be challenged to be a better athlete but also part of a strong and supportive community here.

  This place is amazing. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Not only is the coaches and staff amazing but the other parents that are in the class make you feel like you're part of this big family. My son loves this place and he's learned so much. Couldn't be happier here if you're looking for a great place please bring your kids here or yourself.

  Gracie Barra Colorado Springs is the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Academy in town! Professor Bryan Waltz is extremely knowledgable and highly effective at teaching, even kids, very technical techniques. This is not the first BJJ school I took my sons to, but I am proud and grateful that we found him. Professor Bryan has the unique ability to teach kids to be disciplined and respectful while making it fun and lighthearted. He has a very cool and calm demeanor at all times and under all circumstances. My sons' knowledge of BJJ has grown by leaps and bounds; so has their enthusiasm for BJJ. There are plenty of very technical kids, of all ages and sizes, for kids to roll and learn with. If you are looking for an Academy for your kids to train and learn BJJ then I highly recommend that you go and try a free class to see for yourself.
