  Had to have a blood draw for lab workup "stat", so went to location on Woodmen. It was extremely busy and the employee was expected to single handedly greet people, ready the paper work AND do the blood draws. Well, Becca did so with a great attitude and a smile on her face. She made a long wait, with social distancing and a mask, seem not so bad. And, she can draw blood like no one I have ever been to. One quick poke, five vials and we were done. Thank you Becca.

  My experience was fine. But while waiting I did notice a few things. Front desk does not offer to help the elderly check in. When patient asked if there was another way to check in they were told "no." That's not fair because not everyone is tech savvy. The other issue is appointments. What's the purpose of making appointments if appointment times are not honored. Front desk litterally told patient that had appointment, "what do you want me to do? Put you in front of all of those waiting patiently?". So what is the appointment for? I think LabCorp needs to review protocols with staff. Erica is always patient and kind. This young lady was a bit more sassy with patients and other staff. The 2nd part she did have a point she was trying to make. There are only 3 chairs in lobby or maybe 4 to create 6 ft distance, which is fine but there were plenty more patients waiting outside. Staff would call name out and if no response, they would move to next one. She pointed out to them that people were waiting outside and they needed to go out and call names if no response inside. Again, I think LabCorp needs to discuss procedures with staff. The 6ft distance is going to be around for a while, so work together with patients to make it a good experience. When checking in, phone numbers are confirmed on little computers when checking in. Use those numbers to let patients waiting outside it's their turn.
