I had a good experience. My appointment was scheduled quickly. Staff was nice. Dr. was really good and explained everything to me in detail. She ordered several test to be sure what exactly was going on with my situation. I would recommend this place.

Let me tell you why the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at Associates In Gastroenterology PC are very professional and patient centered. And, since my primary care giver was Doctor Swendsen his is the only name I will give.

Today I had a colonoscopy performed by Doctor Swendsen that was on time, painless, and the pre communications concerning the procedure were given by both the nurse and then the doctor in a very understandable and caring manner; and, the post communication related to the results was given by the doctor in a very caring and understandable manner. However, that is just what they do every day.

It was Doctor Swendsen’s coworker’s response to my 5:00 AM preparation glitch that really showed me just how customer focused the whole organization is even during the hours before they open.
The Glitch, solution, and follow-up: When I opened the second prep bottle my pharmacy had given me, I found it had been previously opened and the top seal broken. I was not about to drink it. I immediately called the doctor’s office and was so pleased to hear the live voice of the answering service representative. When I related the problem, he said the on-call doctor would call me within 30 minutes—he called in less than 15 minutes. The doctor told me the product I should purchase off the shelf at a pharmacy and if I were able to take it by about 7:00 AM I would be good to go for my 1:00 PM procedure. I located an open pharmacy 20 miles from my home picked up the product and drank all of it by 6:55 AM. And, the customer care icing on the cake was when one of Doctor Swendsen’s nurse’s called me around 8:00 AM telling me she had noticed I had called their office earlier and she wanted to know if all my questions were answered.

You are in good hands with Associates In Gastroenterology PC!!!
