King Elementary School

I Enjoy King! I LIKE that the staff addresses the children as FRIEND or FRIENDS. They are concerned about the the children. They want we each of them to succeed!

My daughter started school here at the end of kindergarten. she is outgoing so it wasn't hard for her to adjust. She says her teacher kinderten teacher (Mr. Cuevas) made learning fun. Mrs. Thompson is her 1st grade teacher and my dd loves her. She is always eager to do her homework when we get home. It takes hardwork on her part to study for exams but she looks forward to taking her tests on fridays. When she sees the results it gives her a real self esteem boost and she can't wait to learn more for the new week. She also got used to reading because of Cougar University. She really loves reading now that she found books that she loves to read! Great school and Great staff! My daughter loves it here!

My son attends King for kindergarten and he loves it!! He loves his teacher and comes home telling me all about his day and the things he did. I love how easy it is to communicate with the teacher through the ClassDojo app. If I have any questions or concerns it makes it easier to let her know as soon as possible. As long as our child is happy at school we are happy! Honestly, no school is perfect or without issues but I personally haven’t had any major problems as a parents and my son as a student, and if I did I feel comfortable coming forth and being heard. I love also how military friendly it is. As a military kid my kid enjoys that he can express himself with other kids going through the same thing. So much of the staff is also familiar with the military lifestyle as well. We move this summer but I know my son will miss coming to King!

Have three sons and they are all mixed up in ages. Nothing bad to say here. I support the school, and the staff and am grateful for what they do there.
