(April 27, 2016, 8:05 pm)If you're looking for a midwife, seriously consider Tara! I highly recommend her! Two years ago Tara was my midwife for my third baby - she was professional and patient with all of my questions and concerns during the prenatal visits. During labor and birth, Tara was calm, reassuring and encouraging to me as well as very knowledgeable. She is trust worthy! We appreciated her so much that we are working with her again for our fourth baby, due in six weeks. Once again, during all of my prenatal visits Tara has demonstrated that she is a wonderfully compassionate and adept midwife - I am looking forward to her assisting me with the delivery of yet another child!
(April 8, 2016, 9:02 pm)Tara is wonderful! She has been the midwife at my two home births, one in 2014 and one this week; I could not be more pleased! Tara is highly trained and skilled, caring, compassionate, honest, and loves her work. I have always felt safe in her care. And in the moments where I was certain that I could not make it through the births, Tara was a reassuring presence that I COULD do it. :) I will always be grateful to her and look forward to many more home births with her!
(March 23, 2016, 10:17 am)Tara came at the recommendation of my sister and a coworker. We had a wonderful home birth experience with Tara. She was so attentive to me, far more than any Dr had been. I saw a regular Dr until 20 weeks before switching to Tara and I saw her more in my first visit than I saw the other Dr every visit combined. She listened to what I wanted, made sure I was healthy and the baby was healthy, came right over when I called her at 11pm and delivered me a beautiful, completely healthy baby. Then she (and assistant) cooked us breakfast, cleaned up, and did the laundry. I can't wait to have another baby at home and will absolutely use Tara again!
(March 23, 2016, 1:17 am)Tara is a wonderful caregiver and upstanding professional. I have delivered two babies at home under her care. We were all healthy and had no complications. I put my trust and my life, and the lives of my babies into her capable hands. I would use her services again and again if I continue to have more children. Tara is awesome! I always felt that she understood my needs and provided me with the best pre and postnatal care. I highly recommend Tara Stephen for your birthing needs.
(March 22, 2016, 10:53 pm)I had my first child with Tara and am due with my second in 3 months, with Tara as well. Tara has a demeanor that brings you calmness and openness. She carries herself professionally, but is also easy to talk to. Tara is hands on when she needs to be and allows the process of labor to progress naturally. She is more than just a baby catcher. Her passion for midwifery is evident, she cares about the details of your life and is a knowledgable support through the journey of pregnancy . I am blessed to have Tara as my midwife and would recommend her to anyone I know.
