  I sew and do lots of quilting, so spend considerable amount of time hunched over a machine. Dr. Tessa provided a presentation to the quilt guild I belong to and shortly after I became a patient in Spring of 2022. Dr. Tessa has helped me to not only achieve better "neck and back" health, but she has helped to increase my flexibility and motion. I now have a maintenance plan that allows me to continually move forward. I will always have issues but I have Lowenstein Chiropractic next to me to allow me to achieve my goals.

  The Lowensteins(Dr Mark and Dr Tessa) do a great job of keeping my 60+ year old body running. When I first came in a little over a year ago, my spine looked like a Jenga game ready to topple. Now my spine is nearly aligned and a lot of the issues I was having from pinched nerves to lack of mobility are a thing of the past. I hike, bike, horseback ride, garden, and a lot of picking up heavy things and setting them down(gym). A number of these were painful to do, and now they're not. I highly recommend this practice.
  Reasonably priced, too!

  Dr. Tessa not only looked at the images of my spine and explained the story they told her, but she also took the time to listen to my story of the experience of living in my body. She truly saw me as a person to help and took the time and energy to perform personalized treatments and explain the purpose. I left our initial consultation feeling seen and heard, and after adjustments I feel like she's taken the time to address both my ongoing goals and current concerns. There are some adjustments that in the past, with other chiropractors, have made me nervous, but Dr Tessa respects my needs and comfort level and works with me to find an effective approach that I'm comfortable with. Her enthusiasm and knowledge glow in everything she does!

  I had firstly met Dr. Tessa at 24 Hr. on Southgate for a 10-minute examination and she recommended I give chiropractic a shot—so I did. The x-ray imaging had revealed that I have, albeit mild, scoliosis but most interestingly: a fully-developed 6th lumbar vertebra—quite the news it was! I’ve been with the Lowensteins now for about 6 months since and I’ve felt quite a difference in my mobility and general posture. I feel a great sense of comfort in my own body now compared to 6 months prior and every readjustment is like a blessing. I would absolutely recommend The Lowensteins—don’t miss their seasonal and and holiday deals. Tessa oversees my chiropractic treatments and she’s a real sweetheart with a delightful personality and humour; she has my thanks for readjusting and maintaining my body as I toss myself around like a rag-doll at my two jobs as a CNA and an employee at Kum & Go. Additionally, The Lowensteins also advocate for the expansion of healthcare laws in D.C; WA that would permit military and military families access to good, quality chiropractic care.
  
  All in all, Tessa is a true chiro-queen and devoted snap-crackle-pop extraordinaire with a mission to provide excellent care and her father, Dr. Marc Lowenstein, is a stellar chiropractic professional with over 40-years experience afield.

  Update: My scoliotic curvature had previously been at ~15 degrees, but after 3 months of, albeit intense, therapy, my spine has been corrected to 5 degrees! ❤️ I’m ecstatic and thoroughly impressed by my results! Thanks, y’all!

  Love Dr. Tessa at Lowenstein. I had been having back pain and was told by my primary care manager it was just arthritis. I was very discouraged and thought I just had to get used to the back pain. Dr. Tessa explain how chiropractic care could make a difference. I'm very please with the difference it has made, specially getting out of bed every morning. Everyone at the office is very knowledgeable and caring.
