Delightful atmosphere with outside and indoor dining, very clean place. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. We sat on the patio, had the Farmers Classic and the Southwest Benedict. If you like super thick bacon then you want to try it but we were not fans of it. Both meals were good but not something we would get a second time.
The kitchen was great at getting our food out quick and hot but the service was sub-par. The waiter only came by once as soon as we got our food emote we had even took a bite, then never returned until we called him over.
The only issue we had with our experience was another table having a large dog that consistently barked. It would have been nice to have management say something to the table to control the barking since it was disruptive to the dining experience.
They do have a free valet for your convenience since this restaurant has limited parking options.
This was my first visit, invited by my son and daughter-in-law because they enjoyed it so much. Offers a wonderfully creative brunch menu with both the unexpected (banana bread french toast) and traditional (fried cheese sandwich & tomato soup). My pork green chili, crispy new potatoes, basted egg and tortilla were excellent.
The 'Market and Cafe' name did not give me an accurate mental image of this place before going. The Banana Bread French Toast and Mountain Man Hash were amazing and the staff extremely pleasant. It also seemed to maintain a slightly upscale and pleasant down to earth atmosphere at the same time.
PS the patio not only allowed dogs, but they brought ours a little treat and she loved them the rest of our meal.
Tyler was a wonderful waiter and help! Very knowledgeable of the menu and helped make great suggestions. You can’t go wrong with a green goddess juice or mimosa - so refreshing and sweet! I have tried many things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed by anything. This is one of the best brunch spots in town, make sure to stop by!
