Excellent tour, cool tour guide. Beautiful views.
This was a great tour, I really enjoyed it. My guide was knowledgeable about the geology of the area and knew the names of the rock formations. He pointed out interesting details that I would have missed. The bike was fun and easy to operate and made the hills a non-issue. We stopped a few times to walk and explore interesting areas and I was able to take some great pictures. Everything about the tour was great!
Austin took us on a great tour. I read the awesome reviews and they are WELL DESERVED. Without question, the best way to experience the GOTG park. I contemplated doing the Segway, but as we breezed by those guys I was pleased with my decision. He was super concerned with our safety, and did everything possible to insure that. VERY easy to use these bikes ( I had never been on one), and we didn't even break a sweat. You peddle, it goes. My 11 year old granddaughter was a little apprehensive ( maybe due to all the instruction) but did fine and LOVED IT ( as did wife and I, she 62). We had limited time, and it was without a doubt the way to experience the park. Can't say enough good things about this experience- well worth the money... would do it again, for sure!
Went to visit Garden of The Gods in the car day before and had an issue with finding a parking spot. It wasn't big deal but we decided to rent bicycles and went for a ride.
Amp'd Adventures shop has two locations so if you are looking for an actually shop , make sure that your GPS will bring you to the right location (it is right by the Wendy's fast food). It is about 3 miles from the shop to the Garden of the Gods visitor center, so you will have a pretty good warm up , before you will actually reach the wonders of Garden of the God's area.
The service was great and bicycles were fresh and reliable as well. Highly recommended.
Sean was a wonderful guide. He was friendly, outgoing and laid back. He tailored a pace that was right for our group, educated us with some history of Garden of the Gods and Glenn Eeryie and showed us some great sites. We never felt rushed and took; lots of pictures. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!
