  My husband and I just got married and chose the lantern tour as one of the activities to do on our honeymoon. Our tour guide Hippie was amazing and made the tour so captivating. Being able to walk around the cave with a lantern and having to feel your way around was absolutely amazing. Hippie had us captivated the whole time and made the experience for my husband and I completely unforgettable.

  My partner and I did the Discovery Tour. I honestly expected more dramatic features in the cave. I have been to several cave systems. Definitely have experienced less impressive, but have seen better. I did love the history of the cave that was detailed in the tour.
  
  This, however, does not speak to the park staff. First of all, I didn't think we were going to be able to book due to lack of availability online (my fault, it was a last minute decision to go). I called and they told me there was an option for both of us. Call them if you experience the same issue. The staff and more so our guide (Gale) was AMAZING!!! Gale was quite knowledgeable of every aspect and very humorous for all ages. If I could put her in my pocket and take her home, I would!
  
  Overall, it was a good experience. If you are a family with kids, it would be a great experience (not to easy for the adults/teens, not too hard for the little ones).

  Definitely book online before you go! Spots fill up fast! People were very friendly and nice. Tour was good our guide was great and knowledgeable. Her name was Gale "like the wind!" She kept it fun. Thanks Gale!

  if i could give the entire experience a rating it would far exceed 5 stars.. spectacular views in every direction and the lantern tour was beyond incredible! john aka hippie was my guide and i am so grateful that he was. the amount of knowledge he possesses about the area blew my mind and how he was able to make learning about it all so fun! i traveled there solo and had the opportunity to go for the tour with a big family( who were super cool) it was so special and i would do it again in a heartbeat and probably will!

  My family and I went on the discovery tour and had Dustin as our tour guide! He was amazing! His jokes were great and he was very informative! The caves were awesome and easy to navigate through. My hubby is 6'3" and had to duck a few times but other than that it was very maneuverable. I encourage anyone visiting the Colorado Springs area do this tour!
