I can’t believe I’ve past this place up over the years visiting Manitou Springs. This will now be my new go to place to stay when traveling down from Denver. Brenda was so kind and accommodating. The morning my parents were driving to CO their dog had a stroke and died. It really through things off and uncertainties if they’d make it to CO that day. They did but we didn’t get there until well after 5 but they went out of their way to make sure we had access to our cottage. I loved it and so did my folks. Glad we extended our stay. Very peaceful and serene and last night even a black bear wandered into the grounds. Early on my Dad befriended a mama squirrel and made sure to go out and get her some salt free nuts and an apple. The rooms are like walking on set of a Leaver it to Beaver show. Very kitchey and eclectic. Skip the expensive cramped hotel rooms and over priced Airbnb’s with all those cleaning fees added and stay here. Even the young man working there was very kind and patient with my Dad when we arrived. I’m hoping to go down again next month with my son and will stay here. Give them a call and be sure to look at all the cottage options on their website. They have something for everyone from singles, couples, and families that need separate rooms for sleeping.
Excellent location (in the middle of everything, but somehow feels secluded). Charming, clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. If you are looking for the Ritz, this isn't it, but it has its own unique, comfortable nostalgic charm!
Quiet place to stay. Pet friendly and quite a lot of room in cabins.
Such a sweet motel with so much character. Very clean, very nice grounds and friendly people. The floors are a little wonky, but charming and be patient with the hot water, it will come!
The location couldn't be better for accessing downtown Manitou, Garden of the Gods and Old Colorado City. I would definitely stay here again.
