Barker House Apartments

Barker House is a cool place to live. The building itself is a historic landmark. The Barker House community is like a family. Everyone is warm and welcoming. The apartment is in the middle of downtown, so all bars, restaurants and shops are walking distance. The incline is walking distance as well. The manager is also really cool. She is a hard worker and does whatever she can to make sure all tenants are living comfortably. If you don't do dumb stuff and be a good neighbor, everything will be fine.

I am replying to Mrs. Leslie Brown Stankiewicz, who wrote a review on a public forum about not receiving a call-back on a weekend.

I will start by saying that our office is closed on the weekends and I received an Inquiry via email on Saturday for a unit that was no longer available. I contacted Mr. Stankiewicz via email and phone on Monday during working hours and appraised of him of a possible vacancy in December.

I understand that people searching for a place to rent can get frustrated at not being able to speak to someone at their convenience, but we all have schedules and responsibilities and we work within those parameters to achieve our goals.

Our company aims and encourages all employees to keep a balance in our private and work lives, ensuring that we attend all inquiries in a timely fashion, and without intruding into our off-work family time.

I responded to Mr. Stankiewicz's inquiry, by phone and email, though I am not certain Mrs. Stankiewicz is aware of this, and I did this during normal business hours.

We welcome all inquiries and encourage applicants to gather and consider all the facts before posting a review.

I immediately felt good vibes from this place the first time I walked by it a few weeks ago. Ive eaten at the restaurant a few times since, met the owner and manager of the hotel and decided to move in. I now live here and I am so pleased so far. The owner has been amazing and most of the other tenants are great! The place is older and of course has the character of a place well lived in but its so worth staying somewhere I know I'm welcome and secure. It just has a charm all its own. The Barker House is a great place to live and what a location! Its close to everything in the heart of this magical town.
