I attended this church throughout high school/college and now after spending 5 years in the Hawaiian islands, I am back, and I am so thankful to call this piece of God’s family my church family also. This is a place to grow deep roots in your walk with God the Father, Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. I have walked through many of life’s big challenges with this church family, and I can’t even express in words my thankfulness for the Love and Grace of God I have experienced here. Thank You Father for Living Word Chapel!
My now wife has been attending for the better part of a year and I finally had the opportunity to go after moving into the area. It was definitely like walking into a room full of family that are excited to see you while listening to an in depth but humorous lesson on God's Word.
Pastor Jason and his wife Pastor Amy Skyped with my wife (who lives in the Colorado Springs area and regularly goes) and I, while I was living out of state. They didn't know me, they didn't need to take the time out of their evenings to talk to me, they didn't have to be as welcoming through video chat as they were, but one thing is for certain: walking into His home this morning threw chills up my back (the good kind) as the day I decided to accept Christ as my Savior and God as my Creator 9 years ago. After unpacking my household items with my new wife, it was a blessing from God, Himself, to walk into a place I can and will continue to call home.
