Springdale Campground

Such a great campsite! Beautiful and quiet! It is basic- it doesn't have running water/shower and the road that leads to it is very rough and confusing to navigate but it's easy to overlook all that when you're there and experience encounters with wildlife at all times of the day.
*Just don't do what we did!!*
We came in exhausted and went to sleep immediately after setting up our tent and building a fire without reading the rules of the campsite. They have a lot of strict rules (i.e. that fire has to be completely out with no embers when asleep) and you need to follow them carefully in order to avoid getting heat from the campsite's ranger/host. But she was super nice after we were schooled on the rules. Lol
Overall, we loved it and hopefully will return someday in the future!

Dude! If I could give this place more stars I would! We spent two weeks chilling at this place on top of the mountain. Towards the weekend we had neighbors but most of the week it was us and the animals. It's a bare bones campground so be prepared to do without luxury! The camp host is awesome and the lady knows her business and her mountain! If I could, I'd never come off the place!

I've been here twice now, i enjoyed this campground very much. We Stayed at site 8, there was plenty of space and a trail behind us, perfect view looking into the meadows. The host was nice and there was wood for sale there, but you are also allowed to collect and burn the deadwood as long as it fits into the pit. $18 a night was worth it since you can visit the reservoir for free with the campground fee. Its about 10 minutes away.

Wonderful host. One of the cleanest and calmest campgrounds we've had the pleasure of staying at. Bonus is having a deer wander through the site in the middle of the day! Definitely worth getting here early to grab a spot, we can't wait to go back!
