“Been here a four times now for lunch, dinner, and weekend breakfast. Great home style cooking in Elizabeth with an attentive staff. These folks CARE about what they're doing! Great prices too. Highly recommend. I'm not sure when some of the other reviews were given, but perhaps it's when Bernie's was a bit newer and they were still working out the links. Haven't had any issues with poor service. Update January 4, 2019. Just had their new menu items... Brisket and pulled pork. Both delicious. Better yet, short wait time. They got rid of items that don't sell well and hold up the preparation time. Come see for yourself.”
