This was the best campground we have ever been to! The staff is so helpful and friendly. We couldn't find an elbow for our sewer line and they went and got one for us. Our kids wanted to have smores but the onsite store was closed, no worries, one of the workers went to her trailer and gave us a bag of marshmallows. I highly recommend this place. If I were to say one negative it would be that on the last two days we were there they locked the showers and the bathrooms, but still an amazing place.
The location and size of this scenic camp ground is deceiving. It is tucked into a glen with beautiful vista. It cozy and initimate which hides the fact that this camp ground is very large.
The staff is extremely helpful sand patient. This family and dog friendly park has clean and well maintained facilities.
We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
I was a Material Handler for the company Louis Berger. Our team was based out of Fort Hood Texas. We moved to Fort Carson for a temporary assignment in October 2015, to March 2016, therefore, I was in need of housing. Several of my co-workers had trucks along with RVs, as well as my immediate boss-Mr. Rusty; They were residing at Mountaindale. Mr. Rusty referred me to management and the rest is history.
I stayed in a fabulous cabin in the back of the property. This was all during the winter months and the landscape was breathtaking. It was a wonder to see the wildlife, for scores of wild turkeys would walk in teams from the west entrance of my cabin in the early morning hours, to walk to the east, then return back to the west in the evening. The deer-naturally were plentiful and not shy. I was always looking in wonder and amazement at something new or familiar to me. It's a sad thing to know that- many people will never see such wonders as I have seen due to circumstances that are unfair, fair, or otherwise. To have seen what I have seen, keeps me humble to this day.
I must state that the grounds and laundry room were kept immaculate. Management was personable towards me, and I am very thankful. It was a pleasure residing at Mountaindale. My words are true, for I was taken care of by the Mountaindale Management Staff, my immediate Boss-Mr. Rusty, and my co-workers. May God Bless all of you just for me.
We stayed at Mountaindale for several days in August and really appreciated the beauty and quiet of the location. Having had the opportunity to travel extensively in the area, we note that other RV parks in and around Colorado Springs are tightly packed, close to noisy roads, and can be difficult to access in a big-rig.
That's far from the case with Mountaindale. This location is close to everything, but sits almost 2 miles off of the main highway at the base of a beautiful ridge in perfect quiet and natural beauty. There's plenty of room to maneuver, the sites are spacious and well maintained, and the park employees are welcoming and helpful. The park itself is very well maintained and the team that runs the place is committed to making sure that everyone has a great experience by enforcing community rules in a friendly and respectful way.
We highly recommend Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort and we'll certainly return.
