Saratoga Casino Black Hawk

This is one of my favorite places to spend my weekdays. Good food and great atmosphere.

We visited 4 casinos in town and Saratoga was our favorite, it's not the biggest and it's not the most fancy but it was the most welcoming. My buddy is an amateur craps player and I have NO IDEA how to play the game, I watched as my buddy played but the dealer and the dice man were fantastic at explaining the game, the bets, and suggestions on what bets to play when for my friends success. I played about an hour of video poker, had some drinks and only ended up spending or loosing $30 for someone who doesn't gamble it was a great time.

Top notch. Staff is extremely friendly, and will not leave you hanging without a drink while playing. The food here is absolutely amazing, try the fillet if you get a chance. They offer free valet parking as well which is always convenient.

Edit- went back on a Friday night and walked into a run down, poorly staffed casino with zero hospitality as we had last time. Shame they had won me over until this.

We had a great time. The food was terrific, better than the rest. Then we hit the casino and came out ahead. Also used the valet parking, it was flawless. We will be back!

I liked this place. For new members they gave us $20 to start and we won another $5 when we verified our information. With that $25 I ended up leaving with $117 and it was all FREE!!! Next time I'm in Black Hawk this is my first and last stop! Thanks again for the fun and the cash.
